Ground courses:
A. CRM. The aircrafts we fly these days are reliable and safe. 70-80 per cent of accidents are caused primarily by pilot error. This human factor program is designed to enhance pilots knowledge and skills by developing the five CRM related competencies:
1. Workload management (WLM)
2. Situational Awareness (SAW)
3. Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSD)
4. Leadership and Teamwork (LTW)
5. Communication (COM)
The CRM program supports the development of the competencies as countermeasures in the Threat and Error Management (TEM) concept. Pilots make mistakes in the flight deck. We have to train them in avoiding, trapping and mitigating them.
B. Aviation security
C. Aviation first aid
